I couldn't help but notice that the racks in Tesco's vegetable display were full (there have often been big gaps in the last year or so). On closer inspection I see that a lot of the 'exotic' veg, like fennel, pak choi, etc have been replaced by UK sourced veg - so it's all parsnips, neeps, carrots, cabbage, and further along even celeriac! I assume they're bracing themselves for the new customs regulations which kick in tomorrow(?) and will mean stuff from the EU will be more expensive, and likely to have sat wilting in a queue waiting for paperwork.....
