The Lord Nelson
In the centre of Luddenden village (near Halifax) is the Lord Nelson Inn serving good food and good beer.
In the middle of the 18th century it was called The White Swan and renamed The Lord Nelson after the Battle of Trafalgar (1805).
It was frequented by Branwell Bronte when he was Station Master at Luddenden Foot.
