Later, I headed down to Valley Parade for City’s EFL Trophy quarter final against Doncaster Rovers. A successfully converted direct free kick was enough to win the tie for Bradford. While no one takes this competition very seriously, there is a Wembley final at the end of it. We will see what the semi-final draw throws up.
