Waiting for the Performance

Hard to choose today. I am working on the next four months of my calendar this week. We are getting ready for a joint show in April. So I had planned to post September.

But then we went to the Sanford-Hill series concert. And that was monumental. The pianist was Simon Trpceski from Macedonia. He was the best pianist we’ve heard ever! He made the Steinway sing like we’ve never heard it before. The highs were clear and beautiful. The lows were rich and strong. He played lyrically with grace, and powerfully with the speed and strength of a super human. The audience loved him and he played four encores for us. He must be exhausted! What a treat.
