Your carriage awaits

Had a little impromptu blip meet up with the lovely Winchwench this morning, at the very beautiful Doddington Hall & Gardens, neither of which were open, well not until 4/2, but that didn’t stop us managing to wile away three hours.

Coffee & a very lovely brunch of scrambled eggs & smoked salmon on sourdough toast, lots of chat, mostly about houses ;-) in their cafe.?

Another coffee, before we explored the outside grounds a little….. that was when we stumbled across this little museum of historical agricultural farm wagons, we were very chuffed with our little discovery!

As you can see, they were very charming!

We browsed their homeward, clothing &’farm shop, all rather expensive, but some lovely things.
