Recent storms have deposited a lot of debris like ropes and lobster creels and eroded parts of the sand dunes along the coast between Gullane and North Berwick. We have walked along this beach by Weaklaw Rocks several times when the tide has been low but have never seen this colourful rock intrusion, with its reflections, so wonder if it is one of the places where sand has been swept away to reveal the underlying rock. The island of Fidra with its lighthouse can be seen in the distance.
