Squirrels, Swimming and Sumptuous Cocktails

Charlotte took Theo to a toddler sensory play session in the morning. He loved it.

James had a bit of work to do in the afternoon so we took Theo swimming. He’s been having lessons but this was so different. A children’s pool for the under 8,s full of little fountains and slides. Charlotte and I took him on the lazy river and then onto the waves. He was giggling, squealing and splashing us. Of course I splashed him back, fortunately he thought this was funny and splashed even more. Charlotte and I had a go on the rapids while Tom looked after Theo . We both felt like a pair of kids.

We stopped for a couple of cocktails on the way home while Theo snoozed. We’ve finally polished off an Indian takeaway delivered to our Lodge - perfect.
