Chilly North Westerly
I could see the sky changing as I rode home and as the temperature was dropping mile by mile. Quite a feast of colour from salmon pink to almost violet as the light diminished.
Curlews and peewits calling across the estuary polished off this view.
Two more dry commutes and on the morning ride I was entertained by a Party of Lapwings at least 100 in number cavorting and staying in their group. Almost a murmuration but I read that only starlings are allowed to claim this word invented by humans. :)
