LONG FACES AND LONG SHADOWS

Seen on a walk in one of the local villages where I'd been to visit the podiatrist. I have horrible feet, in almost every sense, and have mostly mistreated them (in my younger days) or ignored them (more recently), but I've decided I need to take them in hand, so to speak, and give them a bit more TLC before they let me down completely.
I like the calm, companiable air of the two friends here.
