FLYING BEDSTEAD
BR Class 31 diesel locomotive, built by Brush Traction from 1957 to 1962. A total of 263 were built to replace Steam. Their duties included freight and light passenger transport. These locos were nicknamed Flying Bedsteads . . . not sure why. Dangerous fact finding . . . according to tinternet . . . this vehicle may have been built in 1948 . . . 9 years before production began . . . and was scrapped by TJ Thompson in Stockton-on-Tees in 2003 . . . hmmm . . . looks fine to me in BR Freight Livery as opposed to the original BR Blue . . .
Technology warning again . . . my current score is Riversider 2 Technology 7 . . . I’m still fighting.
