the moon at last

After the rain last night and deciding to stay home with the boys missed the moon, and was feeling a bit jealous of all the pictures this morning.
So while driving a long this evening a noticed a bright spot on the horizon, and pulled over to try an take a picture, missed the first moments as the tripod wouldn't work and I just wasn't steady enough with out it. But I managed to get it as it came out from behind the clouds. Took lots of shoot and was only 20 minutes late. In just love this one.
