Vertical lines
As opposed to Blondie's Parallel Lines. These vertical lines caught my eye when l looked in at Farnham Maltings after a session with the dental hygienist. The vertical lines of the cut and shaped wood contrasted with the natural vertical lines of the trees alongside the river in the background. The extra photo is of the roof of the Maltings. I assume the cowl shaped chimneys were part of the building's function when it was used to brew ales. Now it's a community resource providing a space for arts and crafts. The cafe had closed by the time I got there, so I walked into Farnham to get a drink. A milk shake - not allowed tea or coffee after the hygienist for an hour or so,
