Repurposed silo viewed from river Tamar cruise

It started overcast and windy, as we set off on the Tamar Odessey, which cruised 40 km along the river Tamar to Batman bridge, then back again and then a short distance along the cataract gorge. Luckily the weather improved as did the views, and the friendly skipper Josh kept us entertained with stories along the way, and Lucas kept us supplied with coffee and cake, then wine tasting ( Pinot gris, Pinot noir, Sauvignon blanc, james Boag’s premium lager) and a really lovely spread of sandwiches, cheese snd crackers, and fruit. We saw a rare bird - a white bellied sea eagle, also some wedge eagles. It was a great cruise!
