Bend in the River

Today 11 people turned up to go for a walk.  We parked at the car park at Short Cut road, and from there walked up stream beside the Clutha River.
That is Mt Maude in the background. 

The extras are (1)  Walkers, and (2)  view from my lunch spot.  I walked a total of 12K steps, or 8 k's.  The weather was hot and sunny, +24C.

We stopped for a welcome cuppa and slice at a local cafe on the way home.  I'm ready to put my feet up now.  Another great day out with walking group friends.
