Supermoon

The moon tonight over Wellington NZ. (24-6-13, 9:34 p.m.)
Tonight's supermoon is known as a Perigee Full Moon - it was at its closest point to our planet, which makes it seem 14% bigger and 30% brighter than when it is furthest from earth. Next time this will occur is in August 2014.
