Election coffee with cake

Presidential elections were held today. My good friend came over to take me to the voting station, which was at the local library. With my good friend next door we had long ago agreed to walk there together with our rollators, but it wasn't meant to be.  She died two months ago.

My friend never comes empty handed. Today she brought slices of an apple cake to be had with coffee afterwards. It was delicious. : )
