Sweet Sorrow

Son no 2 and his girlfriend travelled up from Manchester today (later than expected) with a man and a van. They’re taking a 6 month career break (travelling in Asia and South America) and so were bringing home a lot of their possessions (just as well we’ve been decluttering). She’s going off first in a few weeks time and then he’s joining her after a month, so they’ll be apart for quite a while. She went back west to her parents’ house (with the man and the van) and Mr P and I drove son no 2 back down to Manchester. We’ll be staying with him until Wednesday and enjoying the Mancunian delights!
