We've Left, but you can't Enter

This church ceased operating about a year ago and its next owner it to be decided. There will be a number of reasons why this structurally sound building needs to be secure, but it always seems incongruous when a place that has been vacated is locked up, however securely.

Now I've covered local sites I've got an excuse to travel further afield in search of more dereliction :-) . Thanks again for hosting, Marlieske.

Apart from a few brief excursions into the lovely sunshine, it's been a day of study. I'm in a new job soon and have a load of induction material to plough through online. Fortunately the assessments are at the end of each subject, so they can be done and passed straight away.
