Life in the slow lane .

As the photo shows, we made a leisurely start to the day , playing games on our devices to ward off cognitive decline alongside the eating of excellent food .
We are playing wordle, Quordle , Waffle and connections with Blossom occasionally thrown in. No wonder it takes so long to get going.
The new, soft powdery snow had gathered on the hillside path so we took ourselves off to retread it’s curvaceous course in our snowshoes and then did a bit of “digging out,” with a shovel. I’ve been looking forward to working out in this white gym !
Some of J and K ‘s oldest friends called round this afternoon, there is a lovely energy around old friendships , similar to the energy that surrounds a well worn , comfortable armchair . It was lovely to be around them .
We have just enjoyed a tasty roast dinner , thanks K and now are settling down to a game of Mexican Trains .
