Just to check it hadn't been a figment of my imagination the previous evening, I did indeed confirm the presence of the Cigscampervan in the 'hood

Then scuttled off to Lidl for supplies (supplies! Weird Al Jankovic joke).

On my return , I noticed there was a mechanic in the driver's seat and a cloud of blue smoke emanating from the back of the van.

I chained up the bike, and whipped it out just in time to see my quarry head off into the distance. 

I hung around a bit to see if it came back but I didn't see it. Does it live in one of the underground carparks of North Granton?

Funding has been sought to pay for an investigation into this latest lead.
