The Immersion Of A One Winged Pig, Aylesford
This is another one of my slightly more experimental slow exposure shots.
In our back garden we have a cast iron one winged pig that has a rusted, rather glorious patina. For some reason there is also a plastic storage container that has been left open to the elements and is almost full to the brim with rainwater. I therefore decided, as you do, to drop the pig into the water. The pig is hollow inside and has a slot in the middle like a piggy bank, so when I dropped it into the water it produced bubbles on the surface of the water as it sank to the bottom. As it dropped, and blurred, I realised I had an image I really liked!
