Two Sheets to the Wind- I blame Bayley's

They said it was to be windy today with a yellow warning and they were right . It’s very windy but mild and dry . We seem to be stuck in a repeating cycle of weather. Finally I have been defeated on keeping the patio chairs covered by their bespoke plastic covering. I have given in and removed it before it  went awol in the wind.

I had a lingering coffee with the Merry Widows this morning where the chat was political- oh there’s no doubt we could put the country to rights if only we got the chance - Prime Minister, Chancellor and Foreign Secretary at your disposal.

A windy walk round the Meadows after lunch where I saw my first snowdrops  and home to change the bed and wash the sheets. I wonder what my God fearing grandparents would say to that and  furthermore what would they say to the large glass of Bayley’s which I have just consumed as a reward. The world is unrecognisable from that of my childhood- thank goodness.

The young pupils in attendance at the FP coffee morning yesterday gave us the table posies to take home with us. The blip is my posie beside my raptor sculpture.
