Another trip down memory lane...

Last year sometime i went back to my old comprehensive school only to find them part way through rebuilding it ( and renaming it!! ) so here is the completed Invenio Academy once know to locals as Foxhills School, the only thing remaining of the old school is the building at the top right hand corner of the picture, the old Sports Hall. I would like to say it is a huge improvement on the old school, but having now cleaned both, i would much rather clean the old place, as the new one has way too much glass and the mopping the grey mile is not going to be fun ( thankfully im only there for a week i hope :-) ). It also lacks the sole of the old building, gone is the creepy passages behind the hall, where the ghost of Mr Gilgallen presided and put the fear of god up us, gone is the old toilets with centuries old graffiti. Even the name has changed to something that no one can pronounce !!!. Im sorry but this modern new box has got no soul. But hey i guess thats the bland atmosphere of modernity i guess. will blip a few more shots of the new building.
