Justice and Service

This is the Timaru Courthouse. The front has been retained for historical reasons and dates back to 1877. The new modern court house was completed about 2 years ago. This morning I had to go here for Jury Service for something as important as this its still looked upon as time wasting and is definitely hated by people summonsed to do it. I never won the raffle today and now have to ring up and check to see if I have to go on Wednesday.
