After surviving yesterday's open air Killers gig at Wembley Stadium with NO rain I got caught in a mega storm on my walk back home from the train station! It showered on and off all eve and the sky looked pretty cool.

After waking up at our travel lodge Country File and I had a bit of a wander before a late breakfast at Kings Cross and her return to the North. We have a long history of gig going together and this one at Wembley was pretty special!

For the afternoon I met up with my gorgeous uni friend Laura, we talked recently about the benefit of a vegan or at least dairy free diet following her treatment for her second battle with cancer and went for lunch at The Gate which was lush, as a veggie it's a rare treat to go to a dedicated restaurant where you can eat everything from the menu! I look forward to more vegan journeys with Laura!

We had a mega wander around and several hours of catching up and reminiscing and despite it all we still don't really grown up! I graduated ten years ago and no one I knew through uni had become a parent until last week when my friend John announced the arrival of his baby boy and then today Sam announced he is to be a Dad at the end of the year! maybe we are grown up and just don't realise it!
