Marmalade

This has taken all week, in installments. But today I finished my marmalade when I got back from a long bike ride. I did 57 miles, we went to a new cafe for the group, And then it was off into town again to meet a couple of friends for a quick meal and then a talk about Katherine of Aragon and her influence in Tudor times. It was a fascinating and excellently presented talk. Monday is the anniversary of Katherine’s burial in Peterborough cathedral so we always have a weekend of events to celebrate her. She was a powerful and well loved queen of her times even though she’s best known as the first of Henry the VIII’s first wife.
