St George's Hall Court

I had an afternoon out in Liverpool, with J. We went by train from the new Headbolt Lane station. As we came out of Lime Street station we saw smoke from a large fire that had only started about 15 mins or so before - the blaze was classed as a major incident. Thankfully it wasn't a residential building.

We had booked to go to "The History Whisperer" experience in St George's Hall. The tour included the cells and old court as well as a quick look in the hall. Audio visual told the story.

After a quick drink we walked up to Bold Street, the bombed out church and the Chinese Arch, before going to an Italian restaurant for our Christmas treat, which we just got in before Candlemas!
