No rest for the wicked
I had my shingles vaccine today. I did not have to go far as the clinic was held in the Town Hall at the bottom of our hill. It was ok, just a sore arm.
Mike got some soup while I was in there and we went to the Point to drink it. It was blowing a hoolie so did not get out of the car. Did see some Turnstones battling with the weather.
On to Udale bay where this rainbow spread across the sky, beautiful.
When I got home I phoned to change the date for my second dose but was shocked to find out that the injection had to be exactly 8 weeks after the first ! I had said I could not make it , twice. The lady on the end of the phone was really annoyed. The only way we could solve it was to go to the Eastgate centre vaccine clinic when we fly back from Luton on 21st March !
I’ve looked on line and can not see anywhere that it says it has to be 8 weeks exactly but it does say between 8 weeks to 6 months if you are immunosuppressed .
