Notan

I have been reminded of the Notaniser app which allows you to take a photo and reduce it to two or more tones.. It can be a useful app for getting your head around a subject before painting it.  I plan to paint this picture soon but haven't  managed to yet.
Having filed an online report of the theft from our shed yesterday.. what a useless website that is... I was amazed that a policeman knocked on the door just before 11am.  He came to inspect the site and take a verbal report from us. We felt encouraged.. he was very helpful re what we should do now.. of course the vandals will know that a hobby workshop will be restocked and they may well come back to take the next lot.. so they had better beware.. we will definitely be getting a webcam in there and also marking with an invisible marker as well as taking serial numbers of the bits of kit.  We found they had bothered to lock the shed and toss the key on the lawn.. we must have left it in the garden for them to do that.. not sure what the insurance will make of that... ho hum. 
A quiet day stitching, foot up and drinking lemon tea all day. I longed to go for a walk in the winter sunshine.. it was a gorgeous day.  I was reminded of the word yesterday for the warmth of the sun on a winters day.. 'apricity' I felt it through the windows and thoroughly enjoyed it
