Bird Watch Day

I started off tending my physic garden bed at Saughton Park.  Then all the gardeners attended the RSPB BIG Bird Watch also in the park.  We split into about 5 groups to cover the whole park.  I went with a small group to Fords Road by the river.  We didn't see much to start with, but by the end of the hour had quite a good list.  The Bullfinch couple were a happy sighting, as was the kestrel on the top of the Bandstand-see extra.
Popped out for a cafe lunch in the Pentlands after this.
We have a quiet afternoon ahead followed by a film later.
