Strawberry picking

We went with friends to Pemberton today to pick strawberries. Sad to say this is the first time we have done this since we have been in Canada. It used to be an annual trip when I was growing up in NZ where we would pick for all of the berries we would devour over Christmas.

Finally when you think you have picked (and eaten) enough you head back but there are always those last few gleaming in the sun that you just cant do without.

Here J and friend are counting up their berries, it doesn't take long before they are looking for something else to do!
