A Dark-Eyed Junco
Still snowing lightly and the trees are frosted with ice and snow. This little dark-eyed Junco is looking for his breakfast. His beak and legs are the only color in this monochromatic world. So dark and dreary. The roads look a bit dicey, so I'll have to wait until this afternoon to go to town. Winter is a challenging time for people and birds alike. A fun fact about the junco is it will burrow through the snow to find seeds covered over.
