Everything is springing to life in the garden...

I walked gingerly into the cottage garden on the paving stones to get a picture trying hard not to squash anything. Between everything that self-sows and the thousands of seeds I plant it is incredibly lush and so pretty now with everything starting to bloom all over. Zinnias, cosmos, black-eyed susans and more, much more to come. And the garden has been full of dragonflies and butterflies and bees and for five whole minutes a couple of days ago I watched mesmerized as a hummingbird went from flower to flower to flower. Positively enchanting!
