Old town, Beijing

We came to this part of Beijing for brunch, not quite straight off the plane but not far from it. Our restaurant was Capital M somewhere we'd been previously in November last year.

This is part of old Beijing that was where the 'common' people lived, out with the walls of the forbidden city which really was a city within a city.
