Bridge over the Umqua River

We had to drive to Coos Bay again in preparation for Don’s cataract surgery. Maggie had to accompany us which she did as gently as ever. The weather was again godawful and we were very surprised, how high the water level is in all the lakes, rivers and creeks. The small creek next to the parking lot of the eye doctor was a fast flowing river now which had risen at least 50 cm on the borders.
