A grand day out!?!

When I said I wanted a day out in Bath today, this definitely was not what I had in mind!

Woken at 1.15am. Dad had bad fall. Called ambulance which came very quickly. Arrived RUH in Bath 2.45am. Spent 14 1/2 exhausting hours sitting on a folding plastic chair in cubicle with a very grumpy and difficult patient, while tests and scans were carried out. Viral bug caused drop in blood pressure which caused fall. 5.15pm taken to discharge hub. 6.15pm picked up by ambos. 7.15pm arrived home, 17 hours after leaving home. Straight to bed, only got 2 hours sleep last night.
