Falkirk Wheel

Down to Falkirk today, for my Uncle's birthday party. We came down early, so we could visit the Falkirk Wheel during the day. Things were going well as we paid for tickets, had lunch, watched the wheel turn... until it was almost time for our boat trip. I waited patiently for the wheel to turn, to get pictures of it in a turning position. Then there was an announcement that an engineer had been called... then an announcment that the wheel had been closed for the rest of the day!

The party at night was good fun. Great to catch up with the family again!
