Shewalton Cygnets

Since a friend told me about the place a few months ago I've been trying to find the time to go to Shewalton Woods near Irvine. I had a couple of hours late this afternoon to explore this great spot. Unfortunately the light was poor, making the River Irvine look quite dull, but any picture of cygnets is acceptable. A fairly simple shot for my Nikon D300s, and it illustrates the use of that indispensable piece of wildlife photographer's kit - a packet of crumbled oatcakes to attract animals within range.
