Democratic Demo

Lately, it became known that the right-wing party AfD (which, sadly, is growing increasingly popular in Germany) is planning to „remigrate“ - read „kick out of the country“ - all refugees and asylum seekers, as well as all other migrants, and also Germans who don’t agree with this fascist policy. 

This sparked demonstrations against the AfD in many cities, organized by democratic parties, but also churches, trade unions and other organizations. Today’s demonstration in Wiesbaden had about 15.000 people, according to the police. P and I were part of it. 

We didn’t stay for the speeches though, but rewarded ourselves with a meal in one of our favourite restaurants in town.
