A surreal day

I took this whilst leaving York Hospital today.

I didn’t expect to be there, but my father had been suddenly taken ill with pneumonia for the 4th time and this time it was just too much for his body to overcome and he left us for the last time.

I’m just stunned and I don’t suppose it will sink in for a while.
