Happy birthday!

Friends insisted that we all go out tonight for a meal at a local buffet restaurant where there is a wide selection of different styles of cuisine. Although busy there was plenty of space and since everybody helped themselves there were no queues or bottlenecks. You can have Italian, Chinese, Indian, and sushi. Despite the wide differences in styles it all hangs together rather well. In particular I liked the chicken risotto which, sadly, I did not find till the end of the meal.

What I did not realise was that the evening was to celebrate my birthday which was last week and much to my surprise and delight I was given cufflinks as a present. Such kindness left me virtually speechless!!
