Dig

Got to take some more shots of the demolition work at the Groves, the mill is still intact but the farm buildings are fall fast. There is an area being given the full archaeology survey after being high lighted by this geo survey earlier. Have not been able to ask any of the diggers what they have but above you can see a pit, some post holes and a linear feature showing against the natural sub soil.
Update on yesterdays blip:- There are four chicks, they and mum have come down from the hay rack and are on the floor of the stable. Two chicks are buff with brown marked wings while the other two are bright yellow! this is putting this guy in the frame as their Dad! Mum having already shown some breed and sexual confusion before! The yard owner who has had Peafowl chicks before also says their markings are not right for purebreds. It will be interesting to see what happens as they grow.
