Saint Génis des Fontaines

We drove for an hour down towards the coast to play the match against the overall winners of the over 65 competition in the department last year. We won the match 2-1. My partner and I narrowly lost the doubles in the super tiebreak. The weather was again 23 degrees, ridiculously warm for January. We then sat down for a lunch of grilled belly pork and sausages with tabbouleh and camembert, followed by a tarte tatin, beers and coffee. It was very convivial and lovely to be able to be eating alfresco.
