Postcard from Vietnam

This arrived today!
When in Ho Chi Minh city ( Saigon ) in Vietnam in December we visited the French colonial style post office and were encouraged to send a postcard home. As you can see it’s dated 4/12/23 but if you look closely it was franked in Saigon on 6/1/24, so where was it for a month?
