The Past!

13.00  -  11°C  -  11 mph SSW Wind Speed  -  23 MPH Gusts  -  Cloudy  -  Rain Spells.  Pleasant visit from sister this afternoon  -  nice to catch up with things.  We discussed weight  -  as one does  -  and I fetched out my mother's old weight tickets.  Why I still have them I'll never know!  In those days every chemist shop (now known as pharmacy) had a weighing machine outside that you put a coin in and got a card with your weight on.  Beastly weather out so these tickets can spread a bit of history today☻☻  Oh, and it's Burns Night which I won't be celebrating because I hate haggis and don't drink whisky any more  -  I do enjoy his poetry though.
