Abstract Thursday - Patterns

This piece of wood caught my eye while I was bringing in logs for the fire this morning. I liked the irregular patterns in the wood, which contrast with the regular pattern of the matting underneath.

Happy Burns Night to fans of the Bard. I don't particularly like his poetry, but I will be having haggis, neeps and tatties for my meal tonight.
