There are somethings reminded.....

For instance....IT IS ALWAYS wet and windy at Donington Race Circuit

2-Strokes ALWAYS smell...and it is a nice smell

Technology is WONDERFUL

Magazines are a great READ when it is raining

And then... there are somethings you learn new.

Today I learned that the generation part of a commercial wind turbine (used in the wind farms) is at the bottom of the tower at ground level - because it would be too expensive to service them at the top. This is TOTALLY stupid. The amount of energy being lost in heat transfer, friction, gearing.....even I know (female blonde and all that) that this would be a most inefficient waste of energy. What WERE THEY THINKING!!!!!???

Oh well....at least the 2-strokes were fun.
