Lupin Disaster

A walk round the garden this evening when the rain had eased off I got a surprise when i saw my beautiful clump of lupins. This was how they looked. Yesterday they were standing up like soldiers and today flopped to the ground.I have tried to recover them by putting in some rods and tying them to them but I may be too late.
Dreadful day of rain and wind.
