The wind was howling last night! I couldn't sleep because of the noise the chimney in my bedroom was making. Gran was woken up when one gust hit in such a way that all the doors in her part of the house flew open!! We were very lucky though, no damage, no flooding and all trees still standing.

The river was pretty high when I got off the bus from school. It is always impressive when the waterfall is almost flat. What a lot of litter zipping past though :(
