Art class supervision

The intent was to paint a portrait of a giraffe, however after 30 minutes totally unable to get my brain to control my hand to create pencil marks even remotely resembling the reference picture I had to go simpler. Starting with sunset colours, then a tree, then a zebra and finally a couple of giraffes. I then realised the tree was totally wrong for Africa so drew inspiration from my friend Ellie Rothnie's amazing photos instead.

Johnnie enjoyed the attention and thankfully kept himself clean too.
